Mental Health, Meaningful Connection, and Showing Up for Each Other This May
May is Mental Health Awareness Month—a time to break the stigma, open up conversations, and remind ourselves (and each other) that no one has to carry life’s weight alone. Whether you’re moving through anxiety, navigating life changes, or simply feeling the ache of loneliness, one of the most powerful things you can do for your mental well-being is surround yourself with people who get it.
That’s why community matters.
At Club LILLES, we’ve seen firsthand how life-changing it can be to find your people—especially when you’ve come out later in life or are just beginning to reconnect with your authentic self. The power of sitting across a screen (or table) from someone who truly understands? It’s unmatched.
So this May, we’re doing what we do best: creating connection.
Our next Speed Friending event is happening soon, and it’s your chance to meet new people in a low-pressure, heart-centered space. It’s not about small talk or surface-level stuff—it’s about forming real connections, making new friends, and being reminded that you belong.

And because community care extends beyond just us—we’re also giving back.
For both Mental Health Awareness Month (May) and Pride Month (June), we’ll be donating 10% of all proceeds from our Club LILLES apparel store—including our new Pride line—to The Trevor Project. They’re the leading organization providing crisis support and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ+ youth, offering 24/7 help through phone, text, and chat. Their work is life-saving—and when you shop with us, you’re helping fund that hope.

So whether you’re signing up for Speed Friending (click here to register), rocking our new Pride gear, or just reminding yourself that your mental health matters—you’re part of something bigger.
Something supportive, powerful, and healing.
You deserve that kind of community. We all do.
Let’s keep showing up for each other. 💛
